What TotalCalendar is
TotalCalendar is a calendar application for macOS (and later iOS) that connects to calendar accounts you choose, including Google Calendar, Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com, and the accounts configured in Apple's Calendar, and shows and edits those events on your device.
What data the app accesses
When you connect an account, TotalCalendar accesses, with your permission:
- Your calendars and their events, including titles, times, locations, notes, attendees, reminders, attachment links and video-conference links.
- Your account's email address and basic profile, used only to label the account inside the app.
Google Calendar access uses the Google Calendar API with the calendar scope. TotalCalendar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where the data goes
Nowhere but your device and the calendar service you connected.
- Calendar data is stored in a local database on your Mac so the app works offline. It is never uploaded to Case Study Creative or to any third party.
- Requests go directly from your device to Google, Microsoft or Apple using your own access token. Case Study Creative operates no server that sees your calendar data.
- Access tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, share, or transfer your calendar data to anyone.
- We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or to train machine-learning models.
- Humans at Case Study Creative never read your calendar data. The only exception is if you explicitly send us a diagnostic report, which you can review before sending and which strips event content by default.
Data retention and deletion
Removing an account in TotalCalendar deletes its tokens from the Keychain and its events from the local database, and revokes the token with the provider where supported. Deleting the app's data folder (~/Library/Application Support/TotalCalendar) removes everything else. You can also revoke TotalCalendar's access at any time from your Google Account or Microsoft account security settings.
Software updates
The macOS app checks for updates by downloading a small file from our update server. That request includes the app version and macOS version, and no calendar data.
This website
total-calendar.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
If you join the beta waitlist, we store the email address you give us, the calendar services you tell us you use (if you choose to), and the date you signed up, in a database hosted by Cloudflare. We use them only to invite you to the beta and to tell you about TotalCalendar, and every email we send includes a way to stop hearing from us. We keep your details until TotalCalendar is publicly released and we have told you, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. The sign-up form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is signing up.
If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are emailed to us through our email provider, Resend, so we can reply. The website doesn’t store them, and we keep the email only as long as we need it to help you. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile.

We will post any changes to this page and update the effective date.
